Description: Area One by Project Immersive is Australia’s most immersive escape room experience. Both experiences, The Portal and Nuclear Enrichment are winners of the 2023 Morty award, putting project immersive in the top 200 worldwide and one of two companies in Australia to have all their experiences win awards.

We greet our customers in lab coats in the car park, very grateful that they’ve been able to join us as temporary contractors and help us solve our ‘problems’. We lead them up to secret laboratory and provide them with some trainee on boarding and make sure they’ve paid their insurance. As temporary contractor they are of course paid by us, but to the nature of the experience the insurance costs are much higher, leading to them needing to pay $55 for an hour of cover.

We have two big problems that needs solving, both of which have been cause by a power surge from our reactor. In one a team deal with the hacker that has taken over the security systems and the reactor. In the other our portal scientists has gone missing and our contractors must find which dimension she is in and bring her back.

All our puzzles are woven into the diegetics of the experience as are our help systems. Nothing breaks the immersive until the experience is over.
